The Savoy in London and Raffles in Singapore played host to sellout rooms for Global
Custodian’s flagship Leaders in Custody awards in May.
The awards celebrate the achievements of the securities services industry across two
ceremonies, crowning the highest performers from Global Custodian’s proprietary surveys
along with handing out individual honours and accolades decided by an editorial judging
panel.
The big winners in London were Standard Chartered and SIX, who stood out with three
accolades apiece on the evening, while State Street, BNP Paribas, JP Morgan, Clearstream,
Deutsche Bank, Euroclear, and Mizuho Bank were among the organisations to pick up two
awards.
In Asia, BNP Paribas and Citi won four awards apiece on the evening, while Deutsche Bank,
Standard Chartered and Mizuho Bank netted a hat-trick of honours. State Street, DBS Bank,
HSBC and Proxymity were among the organisations to pick up two awards.
The evenings give a chance to recognise the teams, organisations and individuals who have
made the biggest difference to the industry over a 12-month period.
The next ceremony is the New York leg of the trilogy, which takes place 20 November at
