A-Team Group acquires the events portfolio of Transform Industry, creating the UK and US home for manufacturing data and digital transformation

London, UK – 8 June 2026

A-Team Group, the events division of Finelight Group, has acquired the Digital Manufacturing Summit and associated events portfolio from Transform Industry, the UK’s leading conference series for digital manufacturing innovation.

The acquisition brings Transform Industry’s community of digital transformation leaders, data scientists, and Industry 4.0 practitioners into the Manufacturing Data Summit – the flagship event produced by A-Team Group for Finelight’s Manufacturing Today brand. It also enables the Manufacturing Data Summit to launch in the United States for the first time, with a Chicago event planned for 2027 alongside the established UK summit in London on 6 October 2026.

Finelight Group Founder & CEO Andrew Schofield said: “Transform Industry has built a dedicated, highly specialised community. Combining their digital focus with the reach of our Manufacturing Today brand creates outstanding opportunities for growth and knowledge sharing – and expanding into the US market is a significant milestone for the group.”

Angela Wilbraham, CEO of A-Team Group, said: “This acquisition is a natural next step for us. We have spent 25 years delivering specialist conferences for the financial technology sector, and we have spent the last two years building that same rigour into the manufacturing space through the Manufacturing Data Summit. Bringing the Transform Industry community into our portfolio expands our footprint significantly and, for the first time, takes the Manufacturing Data Summit across the Atlantic.”

Joe Woolsgrove, CEO of Finelight Media, said: “Incorporating Transform Industry’s deep focus on AI, digital twins, and data analytics makes the Manufacturing Data Summit the UK’s, and now the US’s, ultimate destination for end-to-end manufacturing strategy. Operational leaders and digital implementers will be able to collaborate side-by-side with the world’s leading technology vendors.”

Jane Noordhuis and Guy Rogers, founders of Transform Industry, said: “What started as an idea to create a dedicated platform for manufacturing innovation has grown into a respected community of leaders driving digital transformation across the industry. Building the Digital Manufacturing Summit has been an incredibly rewarding journey, and we are immensely grateful to the delegates, speakers, sponsors and partners who have supported us along the way.

We are excited to see the event enter its next phase with A-Team Group and Finelight Group. Their ambition to expand the event internationally and further strengthen its position at the centre of manufacturing data and digital transformation creates significant opportunities for the community we have worked so hard to build. We are confident the future of the summit is in excellent hands.”

The combined Manufacturing Data Summit will run in London on 6 October 2026 and in the United States in 2027. Further details on the US event, including date and venue, will be announced shortly. Delegate, sponsorship and speaking enquiries are welcome now.
