Finelight Group acquires Business Show Media GH in its largest acquisition to date

Acquisition significantly expands Finelight’s international events portfolio and strengthens its Business & Professional Services sector

London, 28th October 2026: Finelight Group, the international B2B media, events and intelligence group, today announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Business Show Media GH Ltd (BSM), marking the largest acquisition in the Group’s history.

BSM is the organiser of internationally recognised exhibitions including The Business Show, The International Franchise Show and the White & Private Label Expo, alongside a portfolio of specialist co-located events. Operating across the UK, Europe, North America, Singapore and Australia, its exhibitions bring together more than 1,500 exhibitors and 45,000 business owners, entrepreneurs and decision-makers annually.

The acquisition represents a significant step in Finelight’s strategy to develop leading, sector-focused platforms that inform industries, create communities and connect decision-makers through market-leading events, media and intelligence.

BSM significantly strengthens Finelight’s Business & Professional Services sector, establishing a substantial international exhibitions platform and extending the Group’s reach among entrepreneurs, business owners and professional services communities.

Finelight plans to support BSM’s continued organic growth through investment in its existing events, expansion into new markets and the development of additional products and services. A key priority will be to deepen relationships with exhibitors and sponsors while extending audience engagement beyond the events themselves through digital platforms, data and the development of new intent-data capabilities.

BSM will benefit from Finelight’s shared technology, operational expertise and investment capabilities, while retaining the entrepreneurial leadership and specialist market knowledge that have driven its success.

Christian Yandell will continue as CEO of BSM, working alongside his existing leadership team to deliver the next phase of the company’s growth.

Andrew Schofield, Founder & CEO of Finelight Group, commented:

“BSM is a great business with established international brands, scaled audiences and a strong track record of organic growth. We are delighted to welcome Christian and his team to Finelight.

“This is our largest acquisition to date and an important milestone in the development of the Group. It significantly strengthens our Business & Professional Services sector and is closely aligned with our strategy of building leading, specialist platforms around the industries and communities we serve.

“We see considerable opportunities to build on BSM’s success, both through the continued development of its events portfolio and by extending engagement with its audiences throughout the year. By combining the team’s entrepreneurial expertise with Finelight’s technology, data and operational capabilities, we believe we can create significant long-term value for exhibitors, sponsors and visitors.”

Christian Yandell, CEO of Business Show Media, commented:

“Joining Finelight marks an exciting new chapter for Business Show Media. We have built a strong international portfolio of events and established communities that bring businesses together, create opportunities and support growth.

“Finelight shares our ambition for the business and brings the experience, investment and capabilities to help us accelerate our development.
